W. Kentucky 36, Arkansas St. 35, OT

Derrius Brooks ran in a two-point conversion in overtime to lift Western Kentucky to a 36-35 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday.
In extra time, Arkansas State (4-6, 4-3 Sun Belt) scored on its first play, a 25-yard run by Ryan Aplin to take the lead.
The Hilltoppers (2-8, 2-4) then scored on a 3-yard run by Bobby Rainey to set up the winning conversion.
Arkansas State's Ryan Aplin threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more as the Red Wolves took a 28-21 lead with 2:30 remaining.
A bad ASU snap in punt formation gave the Hilltoppers possession at Red Wolves' 22 with 54 seconds left.
WKU's Willie McNeal caught a 7-yard pass from Kawaun Jakes on the final play and Casey Tinius kicked the extra point to tie the score and force overtime.
Rainey ran for 146 yards and scored two touchdowns. Jakes ran for one score and passed for two others.
Taylor Stockemer caught two of Aplin's touchdown passes.
