Video allegedly shows BYU RB recruit being shot

BYU running back recruit Charles West was shot in the arm on Sunday afternoon. The shooting apparently took place outside a middle school in Coppell, Texas, according to the police report.

DMagazine says this is video of the incident (beware of the language used). They say West is running away in the video.

WFAA reports that West has had many other issues. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana in January. An arrest warrant said he solicited sex from a woman who advertised services “that entail foot fetish and dominatrix activities.” The woman claimed West sexually assaulted her and held a knife to her throat.

The kid is lucky to be alive right now.
