Vernon Adams Jr. believes the Alamo Bowl is a job audition

Oregon's senior quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. has been spectacular for the Ducks this season, especially during the team's current six-game winning streak.
With his final collegiate game on Jan. 2 in the Alamo Bowl versus TCU, Adams is beginning to prepare for his future in football. When asked if the bowl game is like a job interview, Adams said that he is preparing as if it is.
"I feel like it is," Adams said, via The Oregonian. "I try not to look at it like that, but deep down I think it is. If our team plays well and I do good in this game and the East/West shrine game then hopefully I get an invite to the combine or something and pro day. From here on out it's got to be, I got to play my A game."
Adams finished the season with 2,446 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. His 179.6 quarterback rating was the best of any Power-5 quarterback.
