UTSA rolls past Minot State 49-7

Eric Soza tossed a pair of touchdown passes and UTSA rolled past Minot State 49-7 on Saturday.

Jason Neill began the scoring by returning an interception 67 yards for a touchdown three minutes into the game. Evans Okotcha ran 77 yards for a touchdown later in the quarter and Kam Jones scored on a 22-yard run to give the Roadrunners a 21-0 lead after one quarter.

UTSA rushed for 289 yards and four touchdowns in the game. Brandon Armstrong gained 105 yards in just 10 carries.

Tyson Schatz scored the only touchdown for the Beavers (2-8) on a 2-yard run in the second quarter. Minot State plays in Division II.

The Roadrunners finished 4-6 in the program's inaugural season under former Miami coach Larry Coker.
