Trey Lyle’s time as a Kentucky men’s basketball player is likely over.
The Kentucky star freshman forward is projected to be a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. John Calipari said earlier today that he expects the 6-foot-10, 235-pound swingman to leave early for the pros.

It appears that is what Lyles is planning on doing, too. He posted the following heartfelt message on Instagram, saying he “had one of the greatest times of my life” with the Wildcats.

Calipari expects Lyles, Karl Anthony-Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Aaron and Andrew Harrison to leave. He thinks Devin Booker and Dakari Johnson could declare, too.
