Trae Elston named SEC Defensive Player of the Week

Ole Miss was entering a make-or-break game with Texas A&M traveling to Oxford last weekend, and thanks to the Landshark defense making a dominant return to the field, the Aggies are reeling and the Rebels rolling as this week kicks off.
The defensive effort was aided by a return of linebacker C.J. Johnson and defensive back Trae Elston to the lineup but it was Elston's performance that particularly stood out against the Aggies. Thanks to his efforts, Elston was named as the SEC's Defensive Player of the Week.
