Towson 56, New Hampshire 42

Terrance West ran for a career-high 265 yards to help Towson defeat New Hampshire 56-42 on Saturday.
West, who had 23 carries, scored a career-high four touchdowns on runs of 2, 72, 69 and 2 yards. The freshman's final touchdown capped off a 10-play, 71-yard drive and gave Towson a 56-35 lead going into the fourth quarter.
West now has 25 touchdowns on the season and is the first Towson back to rush for more than 200 yards in a game since Noah Read in 2001.
Grant Elders threw two touchdown passes for Towson (8-2, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association), completing 14-of-18 passes for 183 yards.
Kevin Decker recorded 464 all-purpose yards, 389 passing, and accounted for three New Hampshire (7-3, 5-2) touchdowns but was intercepted three times.
Towson is now tied for first place in the CAA after being picked to finish last this season.
