Top 2016 jumbo athlete considering schools from all over the country

Athlete Devin Asiasi is one of the most intriguing prospects in the entire 2016 class.
Hailing from the famed De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif., Asiasi is a physically-gifted beast with tremendous positional versatility. Playing in the veer offense, he's become a great blocker from the tight end position. While he doesn't get a ton of opportunity to catch the ball, Asiasi is extremely athletic for a player of his stature.
While tight end is his likely (and preferred) position on the next level, Asiasi has the ability to be a standout defensive end -- and does have the frame to theoretically develop into an offensive guard or defensive tackle.
As it currently stands, Asiasi has narrowed his final list down to Southern Cal, Washington, Michigan, Alabama, and UCLA. He's visited UCLA officially -- with trips to Michigan, Washington, and Southern Cal on the horizon.
Asiasi was slated to visit Alabama officially in January. However, he had already made two trips to Tuscaloosa, and wanted to take a closer look at Michigan.
"[Alabama] is still in my top. It's a good school and I have already seen them twice," Asiasi told SEC Country. "I have a good idea of how they are and how they handle their business."
When handicapping his recruitment, the Trojans could hold the slight edge at this point. However, UCLA shouldn't be counted out -- especially if the Bruins hire current USC coach Marques Tuiasosopo to fill the vacancy left by former offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone. UCLA also looks like the strong leader for his high school teammate, 2016 defensive tackle Boss Tagaloa.
