Three-star safety James Pierre commits to Miami

On Monday Miami bolstered its secondary as class of 2016 three-star safety James Pierre committed to the Hurricanes.

Pierre, a 6-2, 171-pounder from Deerfield Beach, Fla., is ranked as the 47th-best prospect in the state of Florida and has received offers from eight other schools, according to Rivals.com.

As a junior, Pierre recorded six interceptions last season.
