The Citadel 45, W. Carolina 31

Rickey Anderson scored from 11 yards on the first play of the fourth quarter, and The Citadel scored 21 points in the period to beat Western Carolina 45-31 on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (4-3, 3-2 Southern Conference) had lost three consecutive games after opening the season 3-0.
Darien Robinson carried 24 times for 116 yards and a touchdown for the Bulldogs, and Ben Dupree ran for 96 yards and two scores.
Darius Ramsey and Troy Mitchell had 118 and 117 yards rushing, respectively, for the Catamounts (1-6, 0-5), and Mitchell and Michael Vaughn scored two touchdowns each.
The teams combined for 676 rushing yards, and they were tied at 24 through three quarters.
After Anderson put the Bulldogs in front, The Citadel's defense forced a three-and-out drove 84 yards for a touchdown, capped by Robinson's 6-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 38-24 lead.
