The Citadel 35, W. Carolina 7

Darien Robinson led a dominating rushing attack as The Citadel defeated Western Carolina 35-7 on Saturday.
Robinson rushed for 106 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown, as the Bulldogs (3-4, 2-4 Southern Conference) gained 435 yards on the ground and broke a two-game losing streak in the series. The Bulldogs came into the game averaging 273 yards rushing.
Four other players - Rickey Anderson, VanDyke Jones, Aaron Miller and Christian Graham - each rushed for a touchdown as Citadel built a 35-0 lead.
A 61- yard pass from Zac Brindise to Garrett Brown with 1:32 to play in the game was the only score for the Catamounts (1-6, 0-5), who lost their fifth straight game and 11th conference game in a row.
Western Carolina has scored seven points in each of its past two games after averaging 29 points in its first five.
