Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds says the Longhorns love the Big 12 and want to stay in league that once again appears to be teetering on the brink of collapse.

Dodds briefly spoke with The Associated Press on Saturday before the Longhorns' game against Rice. He says Texas will be watching to see what happens to the league over the next few days if Oklahoma decides to leave.

Oklahoma President David Boren on Friday acknowledged multiple conferences have shown interest in the Sooners. Dodds says Texas will be fine no matter what happens to the Big 12.

Texas and ESPN recently launched the Longhorn Network, a $300 million, 20-year deal to showcase Texas sports and Texas A&M has announced it plans to leave the Big 12.
