Tentler shines as Stetson tops Davidson 26-13

Ryan Tentler rolled up 407 yards of total offense and three touchdowns as Stetson beat Davidson 26-13 Saturday.
Tentler threw for 294 yards and rushed for 111 as Stetson (2-7, 1-5 Pioneer), in their first football season since 1957, snapped a 7-game losing streak.
The Hatters, after mustering only a field goal in the first half, found their rhythm in the third quarter. Tentler capped off an 11-play, 83-yard drive by finding Austin Marks for a 15-yard score, giving Stetson the 9-6 lead. Two drives later, Tentler broke free for an 85-yard touchdown run.
Davidson (0-10, 0-7) responded quickly as Garrett Diehl took the ensuing kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown, cutting the lead to 16-13. However, Davidson was unable to get anything going for the rest of the game.
David Rogers paced the Wildcats, rushing for 95 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
