Tennessee coach Jones responds to Spurrier's jab

After Steve Spurrier took a shot at Tennessee and Arkansas on Tuesday, saying at SEC Media Days that the two programs have been "doing cartwheels" over their 7-6 records last year, Volunteers coach Butch Jones got a chance to respond

And respond he did, telling the crowd in Birmingham that there were no "backflips" or "somersaults" after going 7-6 but that he does believe last season's Tennessee team overachieved, which he cited as an important factor in judging both a coach and his players.

Jones had a comment in response to Spurrier:

In case you're wondering, Tennessee hosts South Carolina on Nov. 7. The Vols have beaten the Gamecocks in each of the past two seasons.
