In just under 480 days, the Tennessee Volunteers and Virginia Tech Hokies will face off in what could be the most attended football game in the history of the sport. Being held in an arena that is affectionately referred to as "The Last Great Colosseum", the game between the two football powers will be known as The Battle at Bristol.

Holding a game at a NASCAR track is not only a novel idea, Bristol Motor Speedway is located in the middle of both schools campuses, making the game an ideal destination for both fan bases.

The current NCAA attendance record for a football game is 115,109, Notre Dame at Michigan in 2013, but that record could be destroyed with capacity close to 160,000 at the World's Fastest Half-Mile.

The game won't be held until Sept. 10th, 2016, but the hype surrounding the game has already begun as the in field lines were recently painted to commemorate the game.

Unfortunately for fans excited to be part of history, before we get to this game there's still the entire 2015 season to get through.

Will you be among the record number of fans attending the #BattleAtBristol?
