Former Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is going into the broadcasting business.
Tebow has signed on as an analyst for the SEC Network, which launches in August 2014, and will be part of the network’s traveling pregame show.
The former NFL quarterback will also appear on ESPN programs including SportsCenter and ESPN. The network said his ESPN debut will come Jan. 6 during pregame coverage of the BCS National Championship.
The SEC Network's announcement said Tebow’s role with ESPN will not preclude him from continuing to pursue playing opportunities in the NFL.
