TCU's Patterson: We don't have to win them all to make the playoff

Yesterday, in Dallas, Baylor coach Art Briles said as long as his team wins all its games, it will be in the college football playoff.

But a year after being snubbed by the committee, TCU coach Gary Patterson is taking a different approach.

He told The Fort Worth Star Telegram, one loss won't hurt that bad.

Of course, TCU slipped up last year losing to Baylor in the regular season. Ultimately that was enough to keep the Horned Frogs out of the playoff.

Meanwhile, Baylor and TCU were excluded from the four-team playoff. It's interesting to see both coaches taking different approaches to the campaign for the postseason this time around.
