Tabary leads Arkansas State over Missouri State 70-7

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) James Tabary threw three touchdown passes and Arkansas State routed Missouri State 70-7 on Saturday night.

Arkansas State (1-2) set a school record for most points scored, and its 624 yards of offense was its most since putting up 764 in a 68-35 victory over New Mexico State in 2014.

Tabary was 21 of 24 for 255 yards passing while connecting on scoring throws to three different receivers. Johnston White ran for a career-best three touchdowns: a 56-yard touchdown, and scores from the 1 and 3.

Michael Gordon and Warren Wand also ran for touchdowns. Logan Moragne added a 54-yard touchdown run to cap the scoring for the Red Wolves.

Ryan Heaston ran for a 35-yard score late in the third quarter for Missouri State (1-2).
