Syracuse TE Beckett Wales out for season

Syracuse tight end Beckett Wales is out for rest of the season.
Wales suffered an upper body injury during Saturday's 17-16 loss to Pittsburgh and will undergo surgery, the university announced. Through 11 games this season, Wales has 10 catches for 78 yards. He had a season-high three catches for 33 yards against Pittsburgh before the injury.
Wales has 52 career receptions, fourth all-time at the school for a tight end, and his 523 receiving yards ranks seventh.
The Orange (5-6, 3-4 ACC) host Boston College (7-4, 4-3) in their regular-season finale on Saturday needing a victory to become eligible to play in the postseason.
