Al Golden has had some stormy years since taking over the Miami Hurricanes in 2011, but it appears the sun is beginning to peak out from behind the clouds.

Golden has been hitting the recruiting trail hard, and according to an article posted on Bleacher Report, the Miami coach now holds top-three recruiting classes in 2016, ’17 and ’18.

Golden needs those recruits to play up to their potential, as he enters his fifth season having never won more than nine games or a bowl game with the Hurricanes.

According to Bleacher Report, Golden has landed 20 2016 commitments, the most of any Div. I school.

Of those 20, four-star quarterback Jack Allsion, along with wide receivers Sam Bruce, Ahmmon Richards and Dionte Mullins highlight the offensive side of the ball, while four-star DE Joseph Jackson is a high-profile defensive end.

That group could be the class that helps Golden’s seat cool down in Miami.
