St Francis (Pa) beats CCU with field goals, 22-13

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) Lance Geesey kicked a career-best five field goals, Khairi Dickson ran for 105 yards and a score and St. Francis (Pa) beat Central Connecticut 22-13 Saturday.

The Red Flash career field goal leader, Geesey kicked two 46-yarders, a 30-yarder and two 21-yarders for St. Francis (5-3, 3-1 Northeast Conference), bringing his season total to 45 field goals. Dickson had 24 carries and scored on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter after the Red Flash recovered a fumbled punt.

Ed Groth kicked field goals of 32 and 19 yards and pulled CCU within 15-13 in the fourth quarter. Najae Brown returned a Geesey kickoff 95 yards for a third-quarter score for the Blue Devils (4-6, 3-2).

Zack Drayer was 21-of-34 for 220 yards passing for St. Francis, which outgained the Blue Devils 324 total yards to 214.
