San Jose State coach Mike MacIntyre has been reprimanded by the WAC for going onto the field to argue with officials during a game.
Commissioner Karl Benson said Tuesday he punished MacIntyre for violating the WAC sportsmanship code. Benson says MacIntyre will be suspended if he commits further violations.
MacIntyre came onto the field to argue the spot of the ball in the closing minutes of a 17-14 loss to Nevada last Saturday. The Wolf Pack were given a first down that allowed them to run out the clock. MacIntyre also was given a personal foul.
San Jose State athletic director Tom Bowen says MacIntyre's actions were ''unacceptable.'' MacIntyre apologized for his actions and says he will not do it again.
