Returner Debose done at Florida, Cummings suspended prior to Birmingham Bowl

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Florida will be without kick returner Andre Debose and defensive tackle Darious Cummings for the Birmingham Bowl against East Carolina.

Neither player made the trip for Saturday's game.

Interim coach D.J. Durkin says Debose, a sixth-year senior and one of the nation's top kick returners, came to a "mutual agreement" with coaches.

Durkin says Debose is "moving on with his career." Cummings, the team's starting nose tackle, was suspended for violating team rules.

Cummings also was suspended to open the season against Idaho and was reinstated even though the game was canceled because of weather.
