During Thursday's media address from UCLA head coach Jim Mora, more details were provided on Myles Jack's season-ending injury.
Jack suffered a torn meniscus, as explained by Mora, during a seven-on-seven drill. He reportedly locked knees with another player and was unable to straighten his leg. After an immediate MRI, he went straight into surgery around 3PM because it was a cartilage issue and he not yet eaten that day.
"I think you have to be very careful when you start putting a timeframe on an injury, but when you say four to six, there's a little wiggle room there," said Mora. "So I think -- I'm certain -- he's out for the year."
