RB Trevon Walters dismissed from Missouri football team

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) Missouri running back Trevon Walters has been dismissed from the team after he was accused of stealing and arrested.
Coach Barry Odom announced the dismissal Monday, saying the 21-year-old redshirt sophomore had violated team rules. The dismissal comes after he was suspended indefinitely following his arrest Friday in Columbia on suspicion of stealing and fraudulently using a credit or debit card. Boone County Sheriff's Department records show Walters was booked into the county jail and later released on $5,500 bail.
No charges have been filed against the Bradenton, Florida, native. He doesn't have a listed phone number.
Walters never played a game for Missouri. He redshirted in 2014 and missed the 2015 season because of an injury.
