Purdue DE Gelen Robinson, son of former NBA star, arrested

Purdue sophomore defensive end Gelen Robinson has been arrested on accusations of operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent or higher and illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage.
The Lafayette Journal & Courier reports the 20-year-old Robinson was booked in the Tippecanoe Jail early Saturday and later released.
Robinson, the son of former NBA and Purdue star Glenn Robinson, entered a diversion agreement last August after being cited for minor consumption by Purdue police.
Robinson appeared in 11 games last season, recording 20 tackles, including two sacks. He joined the wrestling and track and field teams after football season.
Purdue spokesman Matt Rector says coach Darrell Hazell is aware of the situation. Hazell last year suspended safety Taylor Richards for two games after an offseason arrest.
