Four different players ran for touchdowns and Presbyterian pulled away in the second half to beat Brevard 42-24 on Saturday.

Presbyterian (1-1) led 28-21 at halftime but short touchdown runs from Demarcus Rouse and Seth Moreland extended the lead to 42-21 by the midway point of the fourth quarter. Rouse finished as Presbyterian's leading rusher with 82 yards on 13 carries.

After leading early on the road last week against Wake Forest, Presbyterian was down 14-7 to the Division II Tornados (0-1) after the first quarter. But touchdown runs by wide receiver Arthur Williams and La Qua Mayes and a 22-yard touchdown pass from Kaleb Griffin to Joey Gilkey gave the Blue Hose the halftime lead.

Kelvin Jeter ran for 102 yards on 19 carries but Brevard managed just a field goal in the second half.
