Post-spring depth chart gives glimpse into 2015

The offense will be fine. After all, TCU returns a Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback and playmakers all around him. The Horned Frogs are going turn scoreboards into fireworks shows again.
It's the defense that has Frogs fans a little on edge. TCU loses its top linebackers, three-fourths of its secondary and key members of the defensive line like Chucky Hunter. So one of the more noteworthy position-battle leaders on the post-spring depth chart is sophomore Chris Bradley at defensive tackle. He's ahead of junior Tevin Lawson and redshirt freshman Casey McDermott.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is true freshman Mike Freeze taking the lead at middle linebacker. Another freshman, Alec Dunham, is listed No. 2 at the other linebacker position, meaning it is possible that coach Gary Patterson could start the 2015 season with two true freshman starting linebackers.
The post-spring two-deep roster has to be taken with a grain of salt, at least with positions where competition could still sway coaching-staff decisions. But it is at least a glimpse into what's to come in 2015.
