Notre Dame can officially claim two more consensus All-Americans in its illustrious history after the Sporting News tabbed Ronnie Stanley and Jaylon Smith for its first team Tuesday.

Stanley, an offensive lineman, is also on the first teams of the Football Writers Association of America and Walter Camp Foundation.

Smith, a linebacker, made the Walter Camp first team along with the Associated Press.

According to Notre Dame, no school has had more consensus All-Americans than the Fighting Irish, who can count a total of 99 all-time selections for 83 players.

The last consensus All-American in South Bend was linebacker Manti Te'o in 2012.

The American Football Coaches Association, the last of the consensus selectors, will reveal its All-America team Wednesday.
