North Carolina says junior defensive end Donte Paige-Moss has told Tar Heels coaches he plans to enter the NFL draft.

Paige-Moss played all 13 games and finished with 29 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks. He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Tar Heels' loss to Missouri in the Independence Bowl on Dec. 26.

Paige-Moss' numbers fell significantly from his sophomore season, when he started 12 games. He had 49 tackles, 13 1/2 tackles for loss and seven sacks in 2010, but found himself playing behind touted NFL prospect Quinton Coples and sophomore Kareem Martin this season.
