Oregon responds to Cal's roasted duck stunt: 'We've always trashed Cal'

Earlier this week, Cal defensive tackle Mustafa Jalil brought roast duck to a media conference and proclaimed, "Why not get the feast started?" when asked about the meal.

Oregon players heard about Jalil's stunt and had some interesting, if pointed, responses.
"Teams are always really salty when they play us," said Oregon left tackle Tyler Johnstone, according to CSNNW. "Years past, we were putting up 62 on all of them. Knock on wood I've never lost to Cal here (at Oregon). We've always trashed Cal, pretty much embarrassed them every time we've played them. So I understand that people get a little red in the eye when they see us coming."
Other players were more concerned about Jalil wasting his food.
"I mean, he's just wasting food at this point. I don't really see how that's cool on his part. That's ugly, but whatever," said Oregon defensive back Arrion Springs. "I ain't even worried about that guy."
Cal and Oregon can settle this little battle on the field on Saturday night in Eugene.
