Oregon opens as 7-point favorite over Ohio State in national championship

Urban Meyer and Ohio State will face Mark Helfrich and Oregon in the national championship game on Jan. 12 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The betting line for the first title game of the College Football Playoff era was posted Thursday soon after the Buckeyes downed Alabama, 42-35, in the Sugar Bowl.
The Ducks, who throttled Florida State in the Rose Bowl, 59-20, opened as a seven-point favorites over Ohio State with an over/under of 70 1/2 points:
