Old Dominion 42, Richmond 28

Taylor Heinicke threw three touchdown passes as Old Dominion defeated Richmond 42-28 on Saturday for its third win in a row.
With the game tied 28-28 in the fourth quarter, Old Dominion (8-2, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association) scored two touchdowns in a four-minute span to put it away. Heinicke, who had 373 yards passing, threw to Antonio Vaughan for a 1-yard touchdown with 9:30 remaining, then Colby Goodwin scored on a 9-yard run with 5:09 left for the final margin.
Goodwin had 90 of the Monarchs' 264 yards rushing.
Reid Evans caught 12 passes for 149 yards for the Monarchs.
Aaron Corp's third touchdown pass of the game, a 14-yarder to Stephen Barnette, tied the game 28-28 with 12:17 to play. Corp had 256 yards passing and surpassed 2,000 yards for the season for the Spiders (3-6, 0-6), who have lost six straight after a 3-0 start.
