Ohio State fans could be in for furniture bonanza

For Ohio State fans in the furniture market, now could be the time to buy at a store with locations in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.
All the Buckeyes have to do for your purchase to be free is win the national championship game on Jan. 12 by seven points or more.
So, if you need $1,999 in furniture and have faith in Urban Meyer & Co., you could wind up with a free houseful of goods, courtesy of Morris Home Furniture and Ashley's Furniture Store.
All that stands between your good fortune would be two victories.
Ohio State first has to get by Alabama on Jan. 1 in the Sugar Bowl. A victory in New Orleans would advance the Buckeyes to the national championship against either Florida State or Oregon.
Rob Klaben, vice president of marketing and advertising at Morris Home Furniture Store, said the promotion has been so successful they extended it for another week, allowing people to make their purchase until Dec. 30.
"Right before Christmas, most people aren't thinking of buying furniture," he told the Dayton Daily News. "They're thinking of buying little things to go under the Christmas tree."
A third-party company is underwriting the promotion and will pay out the money if the team wins, Klaben said.
Klaben said more than 700 people have shopped because of the promotion.
"We knew Columbus was going to be a good market because it's the team's home," Klaben said. "But Cincinnati and Dayton have been good markets too."
