Official walks off after being hit

An official at the game between Iowa and Arizona has left the field after being accidentally struck in the face by a player.

Umpire Jerry Meyerhoff was injured late in the third quarter Saturday night when Iowa's LeBron Daniel unintentionally hit him with his arm while trying to leave the field. LeBron was celebrating a sack of Arizona's Nick Foles when he spun around and struck the official.

Meyerhoff lay on the field for several minutes while medical personnel attended to him before gingerly walking off the field toward Arizona's sideline.
