Obama to host BCS champions Auburn

President Barack Obama will host Auburn University's football team at the White House next week to honor their 2010 championship season.

Obama will participate in a ceremony April 29 with the players and coaches, as the president traditionally does with championship teams. Then Coach Gene Chizik and the Auburn players will conduct a youth football clinic on the South Lawn. The White House announced the events Thursday.

Auburn beat Oregon 22-19 in the BCS title game in January.
