Northwestern State's Eagan in Senior Bowl

(STATS) - Northwestern State all-purpose standout Ed Eagan was named as an injury replacement for the North squad for the Senior Bowl on Saturday in Mobile, Alabama.

The 5-foot-10, 193-pound Eagan owns 10 Northwestern State and two Southland Conference records as a receiver and return specialist. Included are the Demons' all-time marks for receptions (177), receiving yardage (2,228), all-purpose yardage (5,651) and kickoff return yardage (2,922).

He ended his career with a 31-game streak of at least one reception.

Eagan worked out last week for Senior Bowl officials and was added to the North team Wednesday night.

Jason Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff will lead the North squad against a South team under the direction of Gus Bradley and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
