Northern Iowa blanks Missouri State 41-0

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) Aaron Bailey ran for four touchdowns and Northern Iowa shut out Missouri State 41-0 on Saturday.
Bailey finished with 161 yards on 19 carries for the Panthers (6-4, 4-3 Missouri Valley Conference). He also completed 4 of 12 passes for 61 yards. Tyvis Smith carried 16 times for 143 yards and a score. The Panthers amassed 512 yards while holding Missouri State to just 139 yards and six first downs.
Bailey ran for three scores in the first half - the longest from 26 yards - and Smith scored from 56 yards three plays into the game, giving the Panthers a 28-0 advantage at the break.
In the second half, Bailey took it in from 10 yards out for a 35-0 lead with 4:32 left in the third quarter.
Brodie Lambert was 12 of 24 for 96 yards passing for the Bears (1-9, 0-7).
