Northern Illinois' Jordan Lynch has broken his own single-season record for yards rushing by a quarterback in major college football.

Lynch surpassed his total from last season - 1,815 yards rushing - in the third quarter of the Mid-American Conference championship game Friday night against Bowling Green.

Former Michigan standout Denard Robinson had the record for yards rushing by a quarterback with 1,702 yards in 2010 before Lynch surpassed that total last season.
