Brent Goska threw for 229 yards and rushed for 95 Saturday to lead North Dakota to a 31-6 victory over Lamar.

Goska threw a 57-yard touchdown to Jarrel Davis in the second quarter and added a 10-yard touchdown run in the third for the Fighting Sioux (3-5), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Goska, making his first start of the season, completed 18 of 24 pass attempts and was not intercepted or sacked.

Lamar (3-5) scored first on a 36-yard pass from Andre Bevil to Marcus Jackson in the second quarter, but missed the point-after attempt and was shut out the rest of the way. Bevil was intercepted three times, including a third-quarter throw that North Dakota's Chris Hall returned 20 yards for a touchdown.

Bevil completed 13 of 25 passes for 113 yards.

North Dakota piled up 452 yards of offense while holding Lamar to 265.
