North Dakota 15, Sioux Falls 13

Zeb Miller kicked a 29-yard field goal as time expired, and North Dakota escaped with a 15-13 win Saturday over Division II Sioux Falls.

Brent Goska threw for 229 yards and a touchdown to Greg Hardin for the Fighting Sioux (6-3), who pulled within 13-12 midway through the fourth quarter when the Cougars' Jordan Taylor was tackled in his own end zone for a safety. The ensuing free kick gave North Dakota the ball with 5:49 left, and the game-ending drive set up Miller's second field goal.

The safety was part of a big day for the North Dakota defense, which also blocked two field goal attempts and a PAT attempt by Sioux Falls kicker Braden Wieking.

Sioux Falls (5-4) got 202 yards passing and two touchdowns from Taylor Perkins, but saw its five-game winning streak snapped. The Cougars won the only previous meeting between the schools, in 2009.
