Norfolk St. 33, Charleston Southern 3

Chris Walley threw Norfolk State's first two touchdowns and the Spartans defeated Charleston Southern 33-3 on Saturday.
Walley, who was 20 of 23 passing for 285 yards, threw a 13-yard pass to Xavier Boyce to open the scoring with 10:41 left in the first quarter. Walley then found Victor Hairson for a 67-yard TD pass less than two minutes later.
After a field goal by Ryan Estep, Norfolk State (3-1) led 17-0 going into the second quarter.
The Spartans dominated the Buccaneers (0-4) throughout, picking up 24 first downs, compared to 11, and put up 519 yards of offense, compared to just 141 by Charleston Southern.
The Buccaneers were held to 55 yards on 45 carries, and threw for just 86 more.
It's just the second time in the program's 20-season history that Charleston Southern has started 0-4, and the first since 1995.
