Noel leads Sacred Heart past Robert Morris 52-13

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) RJ Noel threw for three touchdowns and Tyler Dube scored his second touchdown of the first quarter on an end-around as Sacred Heart rolled past Robert Morris 52-13 in the Northeast Conference opener Saturday.

Noel and Dube started the onslaught with a 4-yard connection barely 3 minutes into the game and Noel put the Pioneers (5-1, 1-0) ahead 21-0 by hitting Sean Bell with an 18-yard strike and Pat Casey for a 5-yard score. Then Dube took a reverse 40 yards that made it 28-0.

The Colonials (0-6, 0-1) got on the board early in the second quarter when Derik Abbott hit Justin Kempka for a 1-yard score.

Sacred Heart rolled up 613 yards of offense, led by Noel, who completed 19 of 24 passes for 295 yards. The Pioneers had 286 yards rushing with Keshaudas Spence, Jalyn Croom and Bell scoring on short runs.
