FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) No. 6 TCU is without leading rusher B.J. Catalon for its game against No. 9 Kansas State that has big implications on the Big 12 and national playoff races.
Catalon has been ruled out for Saturday night after not practicing all week.
While TCU officials didn't elaborate on his injury, Catalon took a hard shot to his upper body a week earlier at West Virginia. That came on a 2-yard run with 4 seconds left, the last play before Jaden Oberkrom kicked a 37-yard field goal to give TCU a 31-30 victory.
Catalon has 493 yards rushing and 10 TDs for the Horned Frogs. He has 14 catches for 163 yards and a score.
