OXFORD, Miss. (AP) Mississippi left tackle Laremy Tunsil won't play for a second straight week because of an ongoing NCAA investigation.

No. 17 Ole Miss announced that the 6-foot-5, 305-pound Tunsil would not play about 45 minutes before its game against Fresno State on Saturday. The school released a statement saying Tunsil ''will not play and that status will continue until the matter is resolved.''

Tunsil has been the team's starting left tackle the past two seasons.

Tunsil's stepfather made allegations this summer that the junior has had improper contact with agents and received illegal benefits. The school said it was investigating while cooperating with the NCAA.

The school said it will ''continue to support Laremy in every way'' and that the school is providing legal counsel as permitted by NCAA rules.
