Cam Newton received medical treatment on his back after No. 1 Auburn's 22-19 victory against No. 2 Oregon.

The Heisman Trophy winner showed up about 10 minutes late for the postgame news conference, then left before his teammates and coach Gene Chizik were done Monday night.

Newton says it wasn't just one hit that made his back go out. He never missed an offensive play.

The Auburn quarterback passed for 265 yards and two touchdowns and ran 22 times for 64 yards.
