Oleg Parent's 19-yard field goal in the second overtime boosted North Carolina Central past St. Augustine's on Saturday in a game that saw all the scoring come after halftime.

Visiting St. Augustine, a Division II school, appeared poised for an upset until NC Central's Jordan Reid hit Adrian Wilkins in the end zone from 2 yards out to bring the Eagles into a 13-13 tie with 29 seconds remaining in regulation. Each team scored in the first overtime.

Reid completed 24 of 43 passes for 253 yards. And TD passes to Wilkins and Lamar Scruggs in the second half.

St. Augustine's didn't go away in the first overtime, scoring on a 25-yard pass from Brian Richards, a wide receiver, to Jermaine Jones. Reid answered for NC Central, however, with a TD run from the 4.
