Michael Herrick threw four touchdowns and Northern Arizona beat Portland State 62-14 Saturday in the last regular season game.

Northern Arizona (6-5, 4-4 Big Sky) capitalized on four Portland State (2-9, 1-7) turnovers in the first half.

Zach Bauman ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns for the Lumberjacks, and Giovannie Dixon added 219 yards and a touchdown.

Daiveun Curry-Chapman had nine catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns.


Herrick finished with 261 passing yards.

The Vikings' first score came with 11:14 remaining the fourth quarter on a 24-yard touchdown pass from Tygue Howland to Nick Hutter.

Howland was 16 for 31 for 192 yards, and Hutter finished with seven catches for 95 yards. The Vikings second score came with a Ricky Cookman rushing TD followed by a 2-point conversion.
