COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) South Carolina coach Will Muschamp said his team's home game with Georgia is still on for Saturday night with Hurricane Matthew heading for the state, although he said the time or date could be changed.

Muschamp said on his radio show Thursday night the game will played ''when it's played. Nobody knows exactly when that will be right now.''

South Carolina athletic department said a decision about the game was expected Thursday afternoon. But that time passed without any announcement. Earlier, the Southeastern Conference postponed Saturday's LSU-Florida game in Gainesville, Florida because of Matthew.

If the game goes off at Williams-Brice Stadium, it'll happen without the 100-to-200 state troopers who normally help with traffic flow after Gov. Nikki Haley said they'd be deployed to help areas affected by Matthew.
