Murray St. 70, Tennessee Tech 35

Backed by a sterling performance from quarterback Casey Brockman, Murray State rolled to a 70-35 victory over Tennessee Tech Saturday night in Ohio Valley Conference action.
Brockman paced the Racers (2-3, 1-1) to a 49-21 halftime lead, tossing touchdowns to Walter Powell and Dontel Watkins and navigating the team on five scoring drives of 48 yards or longer.
The senior tallied 381 yards on 32-of-38 passing - including two scores - and is averaging 335.8 yards per contest and completing 67.7 percent of his passes this year.
Brockman also added a rushing touchdown - one of five for the Racers in the game. Duane Brady accounted for two.
Powell, Brockman's favorite target, had 162 yards on 10 catches, and also returned a punt 70 yards for a score in the first quarter.
For the Golden Eagles (2-3, 0-1), Cody Matthews caught three balls for 119 yards and an 18-yard score.
